His Excellency Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, affirmed that the UAE, under the directives of its wise leadership, continues to advance its new economic model, which is built on resilience, competitiveness and knowledge, and anchored in new-economy sectors, technology and innovation. The model reinforces the country's position as a global hub for business and investment, while strengthening both the appeal of the national business environment and its capacity to attract leading companies in future-facing sectors and advanced technology solutions.

His Excellency's remarks came during a visit to Innovo Group, a global company founded in the UAE that operates across the built environment, with capabilities and expertise spanning construction, engineering, infrastructure, real estate development and advanced project technologies.

The visit included a site tour of one of the company's live projects in Dubai, where His Excellency was briefed on the latest technologies and solutions deployed in project operations, and reviewed applications of automation and robotics used to advance project delivery, accelerate productivity and improve the working environment. He was welcomed by Bishoy Azmy, Chief Executive Officer of Innovo Group.

The visit highlights the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism to spotlight pioneering and successful business models in new-economy sectors and to strengthen direct engagement with innovative, entrepreneurial companies operating in the UAE. The Ministry also aims to support and encourage the adoption of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics across vital sectors, contributing to the competitiveness of the UAE's business environment.

Speaking during the visit, Bin Touq said that attracting global companies deploying new-economy and technology solutions reflects the strength of the UAE's economic environment and the maturity of its knowledge- and innovation-driven economic model. He highlighted the integrated ecosystem the country offers, combining legislative flexibility, a competitive business environment, advanced infrastructure and ease of doing business.

He added that this ecosystem enables companies to grow their businesses, scale their operations and applications, and capitalise on the expanding opportunities within the UAE's future economic sectors, noting that Innovo Group represents an advanced example of how established sectors can harness innovation and advanced technology in support of the UAE's new-economy ambitions.

During the visit, Bin Touq reviewed the latest technologies and solutions applied across Innovo's project operations and the evolution of on-site working methods, together with their role in raising performance efficiency, strengthening safety standards, and improving quality, coordination and delivery.

The tour also featured a demonstration of the automation and robotics applications used to carry out a range of tasks, highlighting their role in supporting project teams and improving productivity. These technologies form part of Innovo Group's broader approach to applying innovation within live construction environments, allowing solutions to be tested, developed and refined under real operating conditions before being scaled.

His Excellency was further briefed on the digital solutions used to track workflows and manage operations. These tools improve coordination between teams, strengthen oversight and decision-making, and provide real-time visibility across the stages of project execution and delivery.

Bishoy Azmy, Chief Executive Officer of Innovo Group, said: "This visit reflects the UAE's commitment to supporting and encouraging the private sector to adopt advanced technologies and apply them in ways that enhance productivity and competitiveness, and drive economic growth."

He added: "At Innovo Group, we believe the real value of technology lies in its practical application and its ability to respond to the actual challenges projects face. With that in mind, we bring together digital tools, automation and robotics alongside our construction and engineering expertise to raise safety and quality standards, increase productivity and improve the efficiency of project delivery. We are proud of our role in strengthening the UAE's innovation ecosystem and contributing to its vision of a more diversified, sustainable and future-ready economy."
