Innovo Group has partnered with physical AI company FieldAI to deploy general-purpose robots across live construction sites in the Middle East, with the first implementation taking place at Ghaf Woods, Majid Al Futtaim’s Dhs1.7bn residential development in Dubai.
The partnership marks a significant step in bringing advanced robotics into active construction environments, as Innovo seeks to use live project sites to accelerate the adoption of technologies designed to improve productivity, safety, quality control and project delivery.
FieldAI specialises in deploying autonomous robots in complex and unstructured environments where traditional automation solutions struggle to operate. Active construction sites are considered among the most challenging settings for robotics due to constantly changing layouts, heavy machinery movements, uneven terrain and the presence of workers.
At Ghaf Woods, the deployment will initially focus on autonomous site progress monitoring, real-time documentation, environmental mapping and data collection in areas that are repetitive, difficult to access or operationally demanding for human teams, particularly during periods of extreme heat.
FieldAI’s platform is designed around a universal robotic intelligence system capable of operating across multiple robot types and applications. While the first phase focuses on monitoring and modelling functions, the technology is intended to expand into logistics, material handling, dexterous manipulation and multi-robot coordination over time.
