Ghaf Woods

Innovo, a global construction company, is the main contractor for the Ghaf Woods development, which comprises 23 residential buildings across the Celia, Serra and Lacina clusters. The project is a unique forest-living community and will be home to a dedicated tree nursery with 30,000 trees and thousands of native tree species. Innovo’s scope of work encompasses construction services, MEP solutions and infrastructure works for this project.

Innovo provides complete execution of MEP systems for the Ghaf Woods project including a total cooling load of 6,681 TR, delivered through 28 chillers. A zone-based electrical distribution strategy is implemented, supported by 5 substations with a combined electrical load of approximately 48 MW.

Infrastructure works include deep and shallow utility services, tie-ins to external and internal plots, and the construction of irrigation and fire pumping stations, telecom meet-me rooms and stormwater pumping stations.

The project aims to obtain the LEED Gold certification which is awarded to buildings that have incorporated sustainable building practices. We are also on track to obtain the WELL Gold certification which evaluates the health and wellbeing of building occupants, and WiredScore certification which assesses buildings for their technological infrastructure. We have also implemented the In-Safe module - an advanced HSE dashboard that enables proactive hazard identification, inspections, and audits, reinforcing our commitment to safety and sustainability on site.
