Innovo wins big at the Digital Construction Awards 2026

Innovo has been recognised across three categories at the Digital Construction Awards, highlighting the impact of our technology-first approach to project delivery across engineering, operations, and sustainability.

The awards, presented in Dubai on 24 June, included:

• Digital Contractor of the Year
• Digital Team of the Year
• Digital Visionary of the Year – Douglas Zuzic, Chief Digital Officer

The recognition reflects Innovo’s investment in proprietary digital tools and its integration of advanced technology at every stage of project delivery, improving efficiency, strengthening collaboration, reducing risk, and delivering greater value for clients.

Digital Contractor of the Year

The award recognises Innovo’s development of proprietary AI and Building Information Modelling (BIM) automation tools, built for the complexities of modern construction rather than adapted from off-the-shelf software. These technologies are expected to deliver AED 9.2 million in annual savings, recover more than 31,600 productivity hours, and reduce rework costs by AED 8 million through predictive analytics and smarter project planning.

Digital Team of the Year

This award reflects the 41 active digital initiatives currently driving improvements across engineering, field operations, sustainability, and corporate functions. Deployments include autonomous robotics, AI-powered LiDAR scanning, and 4D digital twins, supporting construction monitoring and proactive risk identification.

Digital Visionary of the Year – Douglas Zuzic, Chief Digital Officer

Douglas Zuzic was recognised for leading Innovo’s digital strategy and for fostering a culture of innovation through strategic partnerships with universities, technology providers, startups, and industry collaborators, accelerating the adoption of next-generation construction solutions across the region.
