This statement has been published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 of UK Public General Acts for the financial year ending 31 December 2022.

1. Our business

Innovo is an international construction and real estate business headquartered in the UK. We offer services in construction, real estate development, capital projects, supply chain management, venture capital & private equity, with operations in the Middle East & North Africa, Western Europe, North America and Sub-Saharan Africa. Our supply chain partners comprise consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.

We recognize the importance of tackling modern slavery. Innovo’s corporate culture is built on integrity, honesty and transparency. We continuously strive to conduct our operations ethically and honestly and uphold the dignity and rights of our people and partners.

Innovo is committed to the prevention of modern slavery and to the promotion of ethical practices within our business and in our supply chain.

2. Policies and practices

Our policies incorporate a clear commitment to identifying and eradicating behaviours which might give rise to any element of Modern Slavery within our businesses and in our supply chains. We reinforce our ethical values with our employees and supply chain partners and we have implemented minimum standard practices to mitigate the potential risk in all areas concerning modern slavery:

  • Transparent people practice on recruitment, contracts, wages and working hours.
  • Compliance with employment laws and regulations in each operational jurisdiction.
  • Regular audits of worksite and sub-contractors to ensure compliance practices.
  • Protection of whistleblowers and provision of support and assistance to any employee who has been a victim of any modern slavery offence.
